Walnut Vinaigrette

Looking for a homemade dressing to spicen up your salad game? We got you covered! This walnut vinaigrette is packed with fresh herbs and a hint of sweetness and will blow your mind! But be ready for a surprise because it also has little walnut pieces which add extra crunch as well as a rich walnut flavor.
This dressing does not only make salads a little more exiting but is actually a great sauce for roasted veggies, too! It is one of my absolute favorite dressing because it is so quick and easy that anyone can do it. The resting time is a little bit longer but trust me, it is absolutely worth it!

Yields4 Servings
  cup Walnut Vinegar
 1 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
  cup Walnut Oil
  cup Olive Oil
 1 tbsp Maple Syrup
 1 clove of Garlic
 1 tsp Thyme
 ¼ cup Walnuts
 Salt
 Pepper

Pour the oil, vinegar and maple syrup into a small bowl or jar.

Press the Garlic into the mixture. Then chop the Thyme and Walnuts into small pieces and add them into the bowl/jar.

Lastly add Salt and Pepper to taste. This dressing gets better the longer it sits. It could be used right away but letting it sit for at least 3 hours, or even overnight will enhance the flavors tremendously.
